Ringmaster

The magical Jolly Carnival travels the country every summer, delighting audiences both young and old with their amazing acts, and granting the wishes of their punters. For every wish fulfilled, the magic within the Carnival grows stronger. But something has happened to the cycle of prosperity within the Carnival - their magic grows weak, and their way of life is threatened. When her father, the Ringmaster, dies in suspicious circumstances, Rilla must not only convince everyone that she has what it takes to lead the Carnival, but also to uncover the perpetrator of the sabotage rocking their small community. But she has an unexpected rival for the role of Ringmaster - an old friend of her father's appears, demanding to be considered. He and his outsider son Jack turn everything upside down, including Rilla's certainty that she's the right person to lead the Carnival. To save her beloved Carnival, Rilla must do everything she can to find the saboteur. But if she takes her eye off the battle for Ringmaster - even for a second - she risks losing everything she's trained for her entire life.
